Meet Rabiya, Clinical Coordinator
I chose a career in sleep because I want to help spread awareness about sleep apnea, especially coming from a place where the condition is not widely recognized. When I learned about it, I became eager to understand it deeply and be part of educating others. Being able to contribute to awareness and support patients has been truly meaningful to me.
My biggest accomplishment is migrating from one side of the world to the other, stepping far outside my comfort zone, and building a career from the ground up. Adjusting to a new country while growing professionally was challenging, but incredibly rewarding. Seeing the impact of my work—especially helping people sleep and breathe better—makes me proud of how far I’ve come.
What I love most is that every patient teaches me something new. The more I work in sleep, the more I realize how essential restful sleep is for our health, our relationships, and our daily lives. It amazes me how universal sleep issues are, especially as the world becomes more fast-paced. Learning from patients and helping them improve their quality of life is truly fulfilling.
