You’ve tried everything —closing the door, calming music, counting sheep— but nothing seems to be working. You still wake up at night, throat irritated and dry, and feeling fatigued, irritable, unenergetic and disoriented during the day.
If this is you, it’s possible that you are suffering from a sleep disorder known as sleep apnea. Don’t despair. A good night’s sleep is attainable. Our sleep experts at the Lethbridge Snore MD sleep clinic are here to help ensure you have a better sleep, and a better life.
At Snore MD, sleep is our specialty. We care about our clients, and that’s why our team of sleep experts and medical professionals, including Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses, provide sleep solutions that work for you.
Our Lethbridge clinical coordinator is here to answer any of your questions and help you through the process.
Providing sleep therapy gives me an opportunity to educate & treat the patient BEFORE co-morbidity (additional conditions as a result of sleep apnea) sets in. The intimate one-on-one patient interaction also allows me to forge relationships for life. Oh, and I’m a sleep apnea sufferer, so I know what sleep treatment can do!
Reflecting on my accomplishments, there are two main areas in my life that make me proud. Personally – finding my soulmate Nerissa who, while tolerating my eccentricities, has helped raise a daughter who is becoming a wonderful young woman. Professionally, leading many Community Respiratory offices, building teams who have demonstrated a commitment to the patient above all else and in joining SnoreMD, finding a perfect (corporate) match.
In summary, preventing illness and improving the quality of life is the most rewarding thing I’ve done as an RT. Affecting not only their life for the better but those they also live with.
I chose a career in sleep as I was looking to expand my knowledge into a different area after spending 20 years in another medical field. I was looking to start fresh and be able to help people in a whole new way and the sleep industry has allowed me to do both of those things! I love learning and I love helping people and that has allowed me to be able to see how our help can directly transform people’s lives.
My biggest accomplishment in life has been raising my son and putting myself through school at the same time.
I like working with patients because I love to help. So, to be able to see how my efforts and knowledge can help people feel better, sleep better and be healthier in general is such an incredible feeling.
