What is CPAP Therapy?

Our team at Snore MD will review different sleep solutions and the options you may have for CPAP therapy as well as what equipment may be most beneficial to you.

There are several types of sleep therapy machines, but an Auto CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine is the most common. An Auto CPAP machine sends an adjusted flow of airway pressure to your throat to ensure that your airway stays open during sleep, effectively treating the spontaneous pauses in breath associated with sleep apnea.

Treating your sleep apnea will positively impact your life by increasing your energy, alertness, and overall happiness. Begin a healthier, happier life with sleep therapy.

Sleep Masks

Snore MD has a variety of comfortable masks to fit your individual needs. The mask will cover your nose or your face, depending on how you breathe during the night. You can breathe naturally with your mask on.

Tubing

The tubing passes air from the CPAP machine to the mask. It’s important to position the tube comfortably so you are not bothered during the night.

Filters

Filters ensure that you’re only breathing clean air. Some machines have one filter, while others include an additional ultra-fine filter. Our experts will provide you the coaching so you can ensure these filters are kept clean.

Airflow

The CPAP machine pushes air into the tube and through the mask into your airway. This prevents your airway from collapsing and stops sleep apnea from occurring.
