Have you ever woken up with swollen, tired-looking eyes and a dry mouth? You are not alone. Unfortunately, many Canadians are waking up this way every morning. In fact, nearly half of all Canadians have experienced some form of sleep disorder at some point in their lives. The good news? There is help available.
Our professionals at the Prince George Snore MD sleep apnea clinic are ready to help. Using techniques that work, our professional staff will have you sleeping better in no time.
The first time you step into our Prince George snore clinic, you’ll come face-to-face with our Clinic Coordinator. Their job is to guide you through the treatment process and answer any questions you may have.
During the course of your treatment, you’ll also be in touch with an array of sleep experts, including Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists. Our experts will work with you to build a treatment plan that addresses your specific sleep apnea and snoring issues. Your personalized treatment plan may include the use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) equipment to help you discover better sleep.
I was working as a student respiratory therapist in 1998. They had a new program at UCC that was aimed at taking people from the community and doing pft tests on them, testing for sleep apnea and treating them if required. The aim was to get people tested at a higher rate and to give the students hands on experience early in their careers. It really set the tone for my career as I have never looked back!
My biggest accomplishment is a tough call. I’m really happy with my chosen career, running a full marathon almost killed me, but I would have to say raising my terrific family has been the most important and rewarding thing I have ever done. I am a super proud dad of two boys that are becoming truly respectable young adults and I feel so blessed to have been a part of that.
Right from the start I knew helping people was what was right for me. After twenty years of doing this I still do not get tired of making people feel better and take steps towards becoming more healthy. What we do has the potential of making significant improvements in people’s lives and I find that incredibly powerful and rewarding.
