Sleep. We all need it to function and to live healthier lives. But did you know that more than 40 percent of Canadians experience some sort of sleep disorder at one point in their lifetimes?
If you feel exhausted during the day, or have been told by your partner or spouse that you snore and/or toss and turn throughout the night, you may be experiencing the effects of sleep apnea.
That’s where the professionals at our Snore MD Surrey/Panorama sleep clinic can help. We offer effective sleep apnea and snoring solutions so that you, and your partner, can get a restful sleep at night and function well throughout the day. Visit us in Panorama Village, to the left of Shopper Drug Mart and in between Chopped Leaf and Starbucks.
Your health and wellbeing are important. That’s why our Surrey/Panorama sleep solution team does its best to find ways for you to have a better night’s sleep.
Our team includes sleep experts and medical professionals, including Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses, who are trained in the field of sleep disorders and have tried-and-tested sleep apnea solutions.
When you walk through our doors, a clinical coordinator will be happy to answer questions about all your snoring and sleep apnea concerns and get you set up with the required tests and equipment.
I am passionate about sleep because it is such an important part of our daily lives. In fact, I love to sleep, and without a good night’s sleep, I notice a big difference in my mood, energy level and overall health. So I knew having a job where I could help my patients improve their sleep quality would be perfect for me.
My biggest accomplishment in life is paying off my student loan in a year. Being debt-free was very important to me since my parents were immigrants, and I saw how hard they worked to provide for my brother and me. Plus, now I have more money to spend on shopping!
My favourite part about working with my patients is hearing back how restful sleep has changed their lives! There’s nothing more rewarding than having a patient come back looking more refreshed and happier.
In my many years in Healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work in a specialized office. Sleep is crucial for the mind, body and soul so it was an obvious choice for me to continue my career in sleep so I could help make a difference in someone’s health with a better night’s sleep.
Life is a beautiful journey and there is so much more to live and accomplish. But my biggest accomplishment in life thus far is my family, especially my daughter. She is pure, kind, smart and the epitome of joy. She makes me prouder with each passing day!
What I love most about working with patients is being on their journey to better health with them. I enjoying building relationships with our patients, hearing their stories and seeing the benefits of CPAP therapy improve their overall health and well-being.
I chose a career in sleep because I have a family member of mine that is on CPAP therapy and I have seen their improvements and I would like to see other patients experience the same – A good night sleep!
My biggest accomplishment recently would be travelling with my whole family to spend more quality time with each other since we all live busy lives nowadays. I would say that it’s part of my core memories!
What I love most when I work with patients is how I get to connect with them and make them feel that they are safe. I also love to see the journey of their treatment from beginning until the end! I’m looking forward to continuing that at Snore MD!
It’s amazing how something as simple as a good night’s sleep can save us from such a range of major illnesses. We as a society spend a substantial amount on those ailments after they manifest, while taking sleep for granted. But the truth is sleep is one of the most important things in terms of preventative care; and that is why I pursued a career in sleep therapy.
When working with a patient, I love taking the journey with them. In the beginning we educate, discuss their concerns, and truly make them involved in all aspects of their treatment. Then day by day, week by week, they see the health benefits, not just statistically but mentally and physically. The excitement of our patients from then on is contagious because the truth is effective medicine must be a collaborative effort.
I received my Medical Doctorate abroad and it was one of the most challenging and fulfilling things I have ever done. But my biggest accomplishment isn’t the degree hanging on the wall, but the family picture next to it of my beautiful wife and newborn son. Each day I strive to make them proud.
So if you or someone you know, may have sleep issues, please come by and let’s have a real conversation.
