Meet Cassie, Clinical Coordinator
I chose a career in sleep because I kept meeting people who were struggling with their health and didn’t realize how much sleep could be affecting them. In BC there’s still a gap in awareness around sleep apnea and its impact on overall well‑being, and I wanted to be part of helping close that gap by offering clear information, reassurance, and practical support throughout the process.
It’s hard to choose a single moment, but the accomplishment I value most is my personal growth. Over time I’ve faced setbacks, learned from them, and worked to become a kinder, more resilient person. That ongoing progress–rather than any one achievement–is what I’m most proud of.
What I love most is seeing those moments of progress–sometimes big, sometimes small, but always meaningful. Health care can feel overwhelming at times, and not everyone has had experiences where they felt fully supported. Creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and truly heard really matters to me.
When someone begins to understand their health more clearly, feels supported, and starts to notice positive changes, it’s a meaningful reminder of why this work matters. Â
