Meet Your Local Sleep Experts

Meet Karisa, Clinical Coordinator
I’ve always been passionate about helping individuals improve their health and well-being. Supporting others on their journey to better health brings me a deep sense of fulfillment—especially knowing I’ve played a meaningful role in creating positive, lasting change. One of the most impactful ways to support lasting change is through sleep. Sleep health is a vital component of overall well-being, and getting a good night’s rest lays the foundation for success in every area of life.
Aside from my beautiful family, my greatest accomplishment has been my personal growth. Through education and experience, I’ve discovered not only who I want to be, but also a career that aligns deeply with my values and passion for care.
What I love most about working with patients is witnessing their success and being a steady source of encouragement along the way. Every patient is unique, and I genuinely value the opportunity to build personal connections with each individual. I strive to ensure they feel seen, heard, and truly supported throughout their journey.

FAQs
Do I need a referral?
A doctor’s referral is required for sleep testing and treatment, but we can help coordinate one for you. Walk-ins are welcome. Call us and we’ll guide you through every step.
What Is a Home Sleep Test?
Snore MD’s Home Sleep Apnea Test is an easy, comfortable way to check for sleep apnea from home. Patients visit their nearest Snore MD clinic to pick up a small testing device and receive simple instructions. They wear the device for two nights while sleeping in their own bed, then return it to the clinic.
Our team sends the results to a sleep specialist physician for interpretation. If needed, we’ll contact you to schedule a follow-up visit to review your results and discuss next steps or treatment options.
It’s quick, accurate, and completely at home — no overnight hospital stay required.
Do you bill insurance?
Yes — we handle the entire process for you. Our team manages preauthorizations, verifies your coverage, and submits final invoices directly to your insurance provider.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes! Snore MD offers convenient virtual medical appointments through our partnership with WellHealth Medical Clinics. Connect with a licensed doctor from the comfort of your home or office using your phone, tablet, or computer to discuss your symptoms and next steps.
Book your virtual sleep appointment today — our team will contact you shortly to confirm your appointment and provide all the details.
What does a sleep test measure?
Our small at-home device tracks your heart rate, breathing, and oxygen levels while you sleep. This helps us spot patterns—like pauses in breathing (sleep apnea)—and understand how well you’re actually sleeping. Afterward, we’ll walk you through your results and next steps toward better sleep.

So I’ve been coming to Snore MD for quite sometime, I first found snore md when I had a recall on my Phillips bipap machine, Matt came to my rescue with a rebuilt head to get me by until my insurance could get me a new Res Med, I received my new Res Med December 11,2025 I forgot what it was like to sleep all night this machine is so quiet. The staff at Snore md polite, and want to make sure you and your machine is set up properly. Thank you for the detailed service that you all give as customer service Sincerely Brad Novak
I initially came to SnoreMD to buy a cable for my bipap machine, Aksa took me a into her office and it was discovered that my machine had packed it in! She set me up with a rental and got the paperwork started to get me a new machine and I wasn’t even a customer yet! She went above and beyond my expectations to help me out! Thank you 😊 I definitely recommend SnoreMD
I recently purchased a CPAP Machine and components from Snore MD in Kamloops. I found Aksa to be extremely helpful in selecting the best equipment for my needs. Was encouraged to ask any questions which she completely answered to help me understand. I highly recommend Snoe MD and particularly Aksa who worked with me.
Snore MD Kamloops is phenomenal! Communications through text and e-mail are thorough. I felt comfortable at every appointment and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I am not covered by insurance and I did not feel pressured into buying the newest and most expensive equipment, staff worked with me to stay within a smaller budget. Contact with my GP was also quick. I highly recommend Snore MD Kamloops!
Highly recommend, the staff was very polite, knowledgeable, and efficient! They took the time to explain things before, during and after the sleep study. The staff answered all of my questions (I'm super anxious and had lots of questions). It was easy to set up and i'm incredibly thankful for how quickly the follow up was.The only issue i have: i wish i did this years ago instead of just accepting my sleep struggles. If you are reading this and wondering if getting the sleep test is worth it, i highly suggest you do!THANK YOU TO THE SNORE MD CLINIC <3
This place has been nothing but amazing helping me through this new change in my life. I have had trouble sleeping for many years, never realized sleep apnea was the cause.. Today I got fitted for mask and to get the feel of how the air will be going in from the cpap machine. The lady who helped me get the feel of it and what setting worked best for me was amazing. Im not going to lie I was scared to get this and how it would make me feel especially having something on my face.. however I am ready to start sleeping better!
I was told for months that I stopped breathing well sleeping, then I started to wake up gasping for air. Scared me like crazy. Found Snore MD on line and found out they have a test kit for sleep apnea at home. Turns out I was waking up 65.1 times a hr…. That’s insane… no motivation and wanting to nap come noon, not normal for me. I’m now day 21 on machine, holy shit I’m back haha. So much energy, bags under eyes disappearing. Waking up 0.3 to 2 times an hr now..Over all can’t say enough, just do it guys. To the staff…. So kind and caring can’t thankyou all enough. Looking forward to see months from now. Got my life back ????
