FAQs

Yes. A doctor’s referral is required for a Home Sleep Apnea Test. If you don’t have a family doctor, Snore MD can connect you with a licensed physician who can assess your eligibility and provide the necessary referral.

You’re also welcome to visit our clinic to ask questions, browse CPAP products, or speak with a Sleep Clinician without an appointment.

Yes. Our Lethbridge clinic regularly serves patients from Coaldale, Taber, Raymond, Fort Macleod, and surrounding southern Alberta communities.

Yes. If clinically appropriate, we offer an at-home sleep test completed over one or two nights (depending on the device) using a comfortable monitoring device.

Our clinic provides mask fittings, equipment guidance, treatment support, insurance assistance, and ongoing follow-up care.

Home sleep testing is typically completed over one or two nights (depending on the device used for the sleep test). A sleep physician reviews your results before our team discusses them with you and recommends the next steps.

Snore MD’s Home Sleep Apnea Test is an easy, comfortable way to check for sleep apnea from home. Patients visit their nearest Snore MD clinic to pick up a small testing device and receive simple instructions. They wear the device for two nights while sleeping in their own bed, then return it to the clinic.

Our team sends the results to a sleep specialist physician for interpretation. If needed, we’ll contact you to schedule a follow-up visit to review your results and discuss next steps or treatment options.

It’s quick, accurate, and completely at home — no overnight hospital stay required.

Yes — we handle the entire process for you. Our team manages preauthorizations, verifies your coverage, and submits final invoices directly to your insurance provider.

Our small at-home device tracks your heart rate, breathing, and oxygen levels while you sleep. This helps us spot patterns—like pauses in breathing (sleep apnea)—and understand how well you’re actually sleeping. Afterward, we’ll walk you through your results and next steps toward better sleep.
