I was introduced to the field of Sleep Medicine in 2018 and I was surprised to learn how many people silently struggle with sleep-related issues and how profoundly it can affect their health, mood, and overall quality of life. That realization sparked a deep interest in me to learn more about Sleep Medicine and start a career in the same.
My biggest accomplishment in life has been moving to Canada at the age of 21 and building a life independently in a completely new environment. It was a huge transition—leaving behind everything familiar and starting over—but it taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of hard work and those experiences shaped me who I am today.
I truly love getting to know my patients on a personal level; building that connection is so important! There’s nothing quite like the rewarding feeling of knowing that I can make a difference in their lives by helping them achieve restful nights, also this experience allows me to continually learn more about the human body, various personalities, and to sharpen my medical skills.
