Meet Clarisse, Clinical Coordinator
I learned about obstructive sleep apnea while working for a group of respirologists, and it opened my eyes to the world of sleeping disorders.
We spend a third of our day in bed, and the experience should be a restful and restorative one for all. Working with Snore MD, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help others find their way to a good night’s sleep.
What’s your biggest accomplishment in life?
I graduated from college at the age of 26 because I persevered in my goals and chose not to give up on myself or my future. When I left high-school I was not lucky enough to know right away the direction I wanted to head in career-wise. I chose to take my time and discover who I was as a person before deciding to dedicate my time and efforts to study, and I am very glad that I was able to forge my own path with the support of my family and friends.
What do you love most about working with patients?
Being a part of the healthcare system, I feel that patient care is the most important aspect of my work. People come to us for help and by putting their trust in us we can forge a purposeful relationship in which they feel heard and taken care. Making those connections is a remarkable gift and is something that is very meaningful to me.
