There is a solution that can now help Prince George and Northern Interior residents have a ‘Better Sleep. Better Life.’ All you have to do is walk through the doors of Snore MD’s new Prince George sleep apnea clinic and find out.

Get Ready for a Better Sleep, Better Life in Prince George

Northern BC residents can now experience the very first Snore MD sleep shop in Prince George. With 12 sleep clinics around BC, Snore MD has quickly become one of the fastest growing health care providers in the province. Since opening our flagship store in Langley in February 2017, we have expanded to include locations in the Lower Mainland, North Vancouver, the Okanagan, and Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.

“The reason we decided to set up in Prince George is because there wasn’t sleep care with the accessibility and expertise that we have set as a new standard in the province,” says Michael Davis, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Director of Patient Care for Snore MD Sleep Apnea Clinics.

What is Sleep Apnea and How is it Treated?

Sleep apnea can be experienced with loud snoring, restless sleep and interrupted breathing through the night. These interruptions, or apneas, occur when the soft tissue in the airway or throat collapses during sleep, blocking air from reaching the lungs. If left untreated, OSA can have serious ramifications, including increased chances of developing high blood pressure, diabetes, heart complications and driving/workplace injuries.

One of the most common treatments for sleep apnea is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure or CPAP therapy, which uses CPAP equipment to deliver constant air pressure to maintain steady airflow and breathing.
