It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning if you haven’t had a proper nights’ sleep, and that can affect our daily activities and relationships. Unfortunately, nearly half of all Canadians experience mornings like these every day.
From irritability to the inability to concentrate, a lack of restful sleep can result in an array of symptoms.
If you find that you spend your nights snoring your partner into the next room or pulling up the sheets as you toss and turn, you may be suffering from a sleep disorder known as sleep apnea.
Fortunately, our sleep clinic in the Gibsons Park Plaza is ready to help. If you – and your partner – are ready for better sleep, our highly trained sleep experts will help you both get the rest you deserve.
The first time you walk through the Gibsons Snore MD sleep clinic, our Clinic Coordinator will welcome you and answer any questions you may have. From there, you’ll work with Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists who possess the skills and knowledge to help solve your sleep-related issues.
I have personally had experience with poor quality sleep and lack of sleep due to insomnia and it had a huge impact on my wellbeing, my state of mind and quality of life. I enjoy careers that allow me the opportunity to impact the quality of a person’s life. I like to make a difference! Snore MD specifically had excellent reviews as a company AND as an employer which caught my eye.
My biggest accomplishment in life has been getting certified in four different healing modalities in my spare time. I see this as my biggest accomplishment as it wasn’t something I had to do, rather I chose to do it for the sake of constant learning, growing and becoming the best version of myself in the process.
The thing I love most about working with patients is finding a way to connect with each of them in a way that is meaningful to them. I enjoy taking what can be an intimidating experience for a patient and helping them to feel at ease and to gain their trust. It brings me great satisfaction to positively impact a person’s life and especially their wellbeing.
I have always found the human mind interesting. Reading brain waves and analyzing sleep patterns since 2003 has been very intriguing and rewarding. People spend 1/3 of their life sleeping (unless they have sleep problems)!
I enjoy sharing my knowledge with patients to help them overcome their sleep problems. It makes my day when a patient returns to tell me their sleep has been restored. They have a fresh start on life!
Open six – sometimes seven – days a week, our Snore MD clinic in Gibsons is open to provide residents with successful sleep and snoring solutions.
We also offer convenient office hours to ensure you get the support you need, even if that means scheduling an evening appointment.
Unlike other specialist clinics, we won’t place you on a waitlist when you call in the first time. To better serve the community, we’ll even do our best to accommodate same-day appointments and walk-ins.
Our number one priority is helping you achieve a great nights’ sleep, and we do this by making ourselves available to you when you need it the most.
In just three steps, your journey to a better sleep begins.
First, your complementary consultation and screening helps determine the cause of your sleep disorder. Then, you go home with a device that measures sleep-related data for two nights so we can determine the most effective treatment for you.
Along the way, we stay in touch, ensuring you benefit from the best Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy available to sufferers of sleep apnea.
Our goal is to ensure you enjoy your best sleep for life, and so our Care for Life Premium Support Program allows us to be here for you with ongoing snoring and sleep apnea solutions.
